Faith Statement

At Christ Gospel Ministries, Inc., our foundation is built on the sound theological principles derived from the Holy Scriptures. We are committed to deepening our understanding of God’s Word and equipping believers to live out their faith with conviction and integrity. This faith statement articulates the core beliefs that guide our ministry and spiritual growth.

1. The Nature of God:

We believe in one sovereign, eternal God, who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father is the Almighty Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of everything. Jesus Christ, the Son, is entirely God and fully man, the incarnate Word, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners and sanctifies and empowers believers.

2. The Authority of Scripture:

We affirm that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word. It is the ultimate guide for our faith and practice, providing all necessary for salvation and godly living. We commit to studying, teaching, and applying the Scriptures diligently.

3. The Doctrine of Salvation:

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Humanity, created in God’s image, fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. Jesus Christ, through His atoning death and resurrection, provides the only way of redemption and reconciliation. This salvation is available to all who repent and believe, resulting in justification, sanctification, and, ultimately, glorification.

4. The Church:

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, a community of believers united by faith in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve humanity. It is universal, encompassing all believers and locals, manifested in congregations that gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, and the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

5. The Role of the Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, empowering them for godly living, spiritual growth, and service. The Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and the fulfillment of its mission. We are called to live by the Spirit, producing the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

6. The Great Commission:

We believe in the Great Commission, which commands us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to obey all Christ has commanded. This mission compels us to evangelize, support missions, and engage in acts of service and compassion, demonstrating the love of Christ to a broken world.

7. The Return of Christ:

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to consummate His kingdom. He will return to judge the living and the dead, reward the righteous, and establish a new heaven and earth. This eschatological hope inspires us to live in readiness, holiness, and active engagement in His mission.

8. The Reality of Eternity:

We believe in the reality of eternal life with God for believers and eternal separation from God for unbelievers. Heaven is a place of everlasting joy and fellowship with God, while hell is a place of everlasting punishment for those who reject Christ. This eternal perspective motivates us to share the Gospel with urgency and compassion.
